Please change both halves of the buckle. Make sure that the female part is threaded on the short end and the male part on the long end of the hip belt. This corresponds to the original and you can safely carry with the manduca baby carrier again. If the strap ends are too thick, the seams at the end of the strap must be opened and then professionally replaced by a tailor or cobbler.
